CANTOR Software GmbH develops tailored ERP software systems for the window and door industry and for producers of shading systems world-wide. Our modular, integrated software solutions for the window and door industry have been top in the ranks for more than a decade. Thanks to these years of experience, we can offer integrated solutions which will not only handle all of your business and production pro cesses, but help you to reorganise them and increase your efficiency, as well. Our history:
CANTOR Software was founded on May 24, 1987 by Dr. Bernd Wirsam as a logical - and very much in demand - extension of the Albat + Wirsam Software for Glass Group. First located in nearby Lich, the headquarters were moved to Linden in June, 1990. One advantage of this move was that CANTOR was now close to its parent company, at the same address. CANTOR is a majority holding of Albat + Wirsam Software AG and a member of the Albat + Wirsam Group.


Company development:
Since its founding, the CANTOR Company has been steadily forging ahead in its field. To a large part, our success has been based on our thorough knowledge of the industry, allowing us to tailor our programs specifically to the highly specialized needs of the window, door, and shading system industries. To supplement our range of intelligently matched, innovative products, we provide overall service to our customers and maintain close co-operation with the machinery and system software manufacturers. This guarantees our customers comprehensive consulting and maximum service benefits. All of CANTOR's software products are tailored solutions, worked out in intensive, fair co-operation with our customers. The uniqueness of CANTOR's integrated solutions is that they do not simply consider the customers' internal requirements in an isolated way, but take into account their communication with suppliers, customers and dealers, as well. The result is an efficient network that puts and keeps it users head and shoulders above their competitors.


Starting out with two employees in 1987, the CANTOR team today is comprised of 30 people and steadily growing, with plans to increase staff in nearly every department.


CANTOR software is currently being used in 14 countries, and our customers include internationally operating window producers headquartered in five countries (Germany, Austria, Canada, Denmark and Italy), as well as smaller and mid-sized firms, 40 to date. At present, approximately 1.300 workstations have been installed with CANTOR software and our dealer program has about 2700 users.
